As the monsoon rainfall has strengthened in key cotton producing states of the country, the Cotton corporation of India (CCI) has started selling cotton from its huge stock. Propelled by rains in growing regions like Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat, CCI has already sold 15 lakh bales form its 86 lakh bales stock.
