As per sources, India’s Cotton exports to Pakistan is expected to decline by around 50% in 2016/17 on expected improvement in Pakistan’s cotton production and ongoing rivalry between two countries. Pakistan is likely to import around 1 to 1.5 million bales in 2016/17 which started on October 1’ 2016 compared to 2.7 million bales during the previous year.
