As cotton prices have fallen, there has been reports that cotton has been procured in many states below minimum support price (MSP). The Central Agriculture Minister expressed his concern over the reports of sale of cotton in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh allegedly below the minimum support price (MSP).
