World coffee consumption grew 2.3 percent annually between 2011 and 2014 year, International Coffee Organization data show. While demand in the traditional markets grew 1.5 percent, emerging markets rose 4.6 percent. The global soluble coffee market expanded to about $5.5 billion last year from $3.65 billion in 2007.
