Fresh sales of Brazil's new crop coffee were sparse, as the recent clear weather turned producers' attention toward harvesting and volatile swings in the currency kept sellers reluctant to close deals. Mostly dry weather and clear skies in last week have allowed the producers to advance on harvest, and the harvest has passed the halfway point by the end of July this year.
