For the current 2014-15 season, the Coffee Board in its post monsoon estimates has pegged India’s coffee output at 3.31 lakh tonnes, about 8.7 per cent higher than the last year’s final estimate of 3.04 lakh tonnes. Domestic coffee consumption in India is pegged at around 1.15 lakh tonnes and is growing around 5-6 per cent year on year, said the analysts.
