Brazil allocated 8% more resources for financing the production, processing, storage and sale of the world's biggest coffee crop. The coffee development fund, known as Funcafe, will make 4.136 billion reais ($1.3 billion) in credit available to producers and cooperatives, with potential to support global prices for the commodity.
