According to the recent report by the International Coffee Organization (ICO), global coffee exports in October month amounted to 8.9 million bags (1 bag = 60 kg), up just 0.5% from the same period in 2013-2014 (October-September). The rise in coffee exports can be attributed to increased demand from the United States and Japan.
