There is a chance of Root wilt on coconut garden in Kerala state. Application of 50 kg cattle manure or green manure and 1 kg of lime per palm per year is recommended to manage this. Growing green manure crops in the coconut basin and their incorporation in situ is beneficial to reduce intensity of root wilt and increase the yield.
