Coconut| Copra prices were decreased at Erode market.

Copra prices were decreased at Erode market as no crushers turned up for sale. The coconut yield has increased and also the cultivable area by ten per cent in the Erode district this year due to rains occurred in November and December last year. This year coconut production will be more and the prices of the copra will come down again.
