Record Chilli production has brought tears to farmer’s eyes as prices have halved in last couple of months. The prices have fallen to Rs. 7,000 per quintal for grade-1 and Rs. 3,000 per quintal for grade -II. Last year prices were around Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per quintal for grade-I and Rs. 7,000 per quintal for grade-II.
