During the period April 2016 to Feb 2017, red chilli supply totaled 2.75 lakh tonnes against 2.85 lakh tonnes during the same time of last year. Chilli powder export stood at 27656 tonnes against last year’s 24165 tones. Chilli seeds around 1383 tonnes compared to last year’s 1156 tonnes.
