Continuous rains in Chickpeas growing belts of Australia have delayed shipments to India by 10-15 days from scheduled time and there is a concern over normal quality too. Australian Chana at Mumbai was quoted at Rs. 10500 per quintal. Tanzanian and Ethiopian Chana were quoted at Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 9,800 per quintal.
