Lower chickpea output, acute dip in arrival and strong buying in chickpea from millers and stockists have lifted chana prices in Indore market (Madhya Pradesh) in the past one week by Rs 350 with chana (kanta) rising to Rs 6,100 per quintal, while chana (desi) rose to Rs 6,000. Rise in chana lifted its dal with chana dal (average) at Rs 7,150-7,250.
