Downtrend in chickpea prices continuing for the past few days has ended on shrinking arrivals and declining stock. Besides, report of lower crop acreage and fluctuating weather condition have also lent strength to uptrend with chana (kanta) rising to Rs 5,000-5025 per quintal, while chana (desi) ruled at Rs 4,800 at Indore market.
