Chickpea sowing is in peak in key producing states of India. As per the recent report of farm ministry, chana sown in 16.15 lakh hectare as compared to 23.78 lakh hectare during the same period of last year. Acreage under rabi pulses were 23.98 lakh hectare as compared to 30.86 lakh hectare during the same period of last year.
