Chickpea or chana prices were showing bearish trend in spot and future markets on the account of decline in demand and higher arrivals. According to the analysts, offloading of positions by speculators amid higher supplies from producing regions against decline in demand at spot market at prevailing levels pulled down chana prices in futures.
