Chickpea arrivals were declined in major spot markets of India. As per recent report of Indian farm ministry, chickpea sown on 40.99 lakh hectare as compared to 53.05 lakh hectare during the same period of last year. Acreage under rabi pulses were 58.77 lakh hectare as compared to 70.85 lakh hectare during the same period of last year.
