At Indore market, chickpea or chana (kanta) rising to Rs 5,700 per quintal. Rise in chana also perked up its dal with chana dal (average) being quoted at Rs 6,850-6,950 per quintal. Given the decline in domestic crop output and dependency on imported crop, chana prices may gain further in the coming days, said the traders.
