As per the latest estimates of Government of India, India has produced 9.88 million tonnes of chickpea during 2013-2014. Pulses production in India estimated at record 19.27 million tonnes for 2013-2014 year. Recently the Indian Government released the 4th advance estimates of food grain production for 2013-2014 year.
