Fresh arrivals of Chana crop has started hitting the local mandies across the country but despite rise in arrival of new crop, Chana prices are ruling firm in major trading centres. Chana (Kanta) is being quoted at Rs. 5,000 -5,100 a quintal while Chana (desi) is trading at Rs. 5,000 a quintal.
