As per reports, government has set Chana procurement target at 4 lakh tonnes this year. So far Government has procured around 16 lakh tonnes of pulses including tur, moong, urad and others. It may difficult for government to buy chana from domestic market as chana prices in domestic market is trading above the minimum support prices.
