Castor seed price were moved up in major spot markets of Gujarat state on the back of good demand and short supply. According to the traders, arrival of the commodity has declined in the past one week and demand has been remained strong which pushes up the spot price. At Rajkot market, castor seed prices was up Rs 5 to Rs 795-805 per 20 kilograms.
