Castor seed futures were increased due to decline in supply and strong demand in spot markets. Buying from exporters was firm. According to the traders, a steep rise in castor seed prices was mostly supported by thin supplies from growing belts of Gujarat state amidst strong demand from consuming industries in the physical markets.
