Konkan is the major cashew producing region of Maharashtra state. Due to recent untimely rains there was fruit dropping in cashew orchard. Farmers are advised to collect dropped fruits, infested leaves and branches and destroy. According to the Agriculture Experts, farmers are making shed, to protect the cashew from bright sunshine.
