Export of cashew kernels from India continued to show a declining trend while the domestic demand has witnessed an upsurge. Shipments of cashew during April and August of 2014 fell to 46,240 tonnes from 52,771 tonnes during the corresponding period last year, according to the Cashew Export Promotion Council of India (CEPCI).
