India’s cardamom crop estimate for the current season is expected to be lower compared to the last year. Guatemalan cardamom output in India is expected to be around 30000 tonnes in 2014-15 crop season. Vandanmendu, Bodinayakanur, Kumily, Thekkady, Kumbum and Pattiveeran Patti in Kerala are important markets for cardamom in India.
