India’s cardamom crop estimate for the current season is expected to be lower compared to the last year. Guatemalan cardamom output in India expected to be around 30000 tonnes in 2014-15 crop season. The major markets for cardamom in India are Vandanmendu, Bodinayakanur, Thekkady, Kumbum Pattiveeran Patti & Kumily in Kerala.
