Good rains in the initial rounds of harvesting is likely to turn out positive for cardamom output for next season. The summer showers reported in Kerala and Tamil Nadu may improve the production in the next season that begins in June. Kerala (70 per cent), Karnataka (20 per cent) and Tamil Nadu (10 per cent) are the cardamom growing states in India.
