Cardamom prices are trading firm at the spot markets on likely delay by one month in picking activity. Drought like situations during the month of April and May has delayed the picking activity. During the first fortnight of August, Cardamom prices at Vandanmedu spot market has rose more than 8% to Rs. 1010.20 per kilogram from Rs. 926.80 per kilogram.
