Cardamom prices are expected to remain firm on likely delay by one month in picking activity. Dry spell in the growing regions in Idukki district of Kerala and other parts during the month of April and May has also reduced the yield substantially. Production is expected to down as compared to last year but actual figures will be known after two months.
