Strong buying support from exporters and domestic markets were pushed up the prices of black pepper at Kochi spot market. Black pepper prices at spot market were moved up by Rs 400 to Rs 54,400 (ungarbled) and Rs 57,400 (garbled) per quintal. Export prices of black pepper are at $9,400 per tonne for Europe and $9,450 for the United States.
