Kerala and Karnataka are the major black pepper producing states in India. Black pepper prices were declined at Kochi spot market on account of the selling pressure from the Kerala and Karnataka state. Black pepper arrivals from Sakleshpur and Chikamagaluru in Karnataka state have picked up and traders were offering at Rs 655 per kg.
