Black Pepper| Indian black pepper production is projected

Indian black pepper production is projected to decline to 53,000 tonne in 2016 from 65,000 ton in 2015. Global production during the crop year of 2016 is estimated to increase by a marginal 6,000 ton mostly on higher production in Vietnam, according to the reports of the 43rd annual meet of International Pepper Community (IPC).
