Black Pepper prices were stayed hot on account of strong export demand amid tight supply. However, domestic demand was slow as the buyers were anticipating the release of about 1,300 tonnes of ‘tainted’ pepper. At Kochi spot market, prices increased further by Rs 500 per quintal to Rs 61,000 (ungarbled) and Rs 64,000 (garbled).
