Black pepper prices were remained at above Rs 600 per kg at Kochi spot market. Inspite of reports of bumper crop mainly in Karnataka state in 2015 and also of release of thousands of tonnes of pepper which have been held in warehouses for over two years, the prices stayed at moderately higher levels during the year.
