Black pepper prices at Kochi market ruled steady as both the spot and primary markets were by and large closed on account of week-long Onam festival. The spot market remained steady at Rs 68,700 (ungarbled) and Rs 71,700 (garbled) per quintal. No trading took place at market. No activities were reported from the national exchange.
