At Kochi market, black pepper prices were continued to stay hot on tight availability. Prices moved up by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 63,000 (ungarbled) and Rs 65,000 (garbled). Export oriented units reported to have imported Sri Lankan pepper of 525 GL at $8,950 per tonne. Indian prices were at $10,450 for Europe and $10,700 for US.
