At Kochi market, black pepper prices were ruled steady on limited activities. Tamil Nadu buyers stayed away, while activities in some southern districts in Kerala were limited because of the Sabarimala pilgrimage rush. On the terminal market, 21 tonnes were traded at Rs 620-630 per kg. Steady trend in black pepper prices will continue in the coming days.
