As a result of the damage caused by the untimely rains in the key growing regions, India's black pepper output will be down by 12,000 MT in 2016, as per the recent data by International Pepper Community (IPC). IPC projects Indian pepper output at 53,000 MT as compared to the current year estimate of 65,000 MT.
