Stunning video showing Greenland melting away

Climate Change and Global Warming have raised worldwide concerns.  The New York Times has come up with an innovative idea to show the world that Greenland is actually melting away. The American daily newspaper came up with a footage shot via a drone, which shows the melting ice sheets in Greenland.

While the one minute video is terrifying and worrying, it is strangely beautiful and visually stunning at the same time. The melting ice is also an indicator of how fast the sea levels are likely to rise in the decades to come. If the ice sheets in Greenland melt completely, the sea levels could rise to up to 20 feet.

The warmer global temperatures are only speeding up, and only videos like this show us the harsh reality of climate change and Greenland’s situation. The melting of these once sheets are becoming quite a common and it raises a big question on how the future will pan out if no absolute measures are taken as soon as possible.
