The Centre for Science and Environment has taken out a report called Body Burden 2015: State of India’s Health. The report focuses on the environmental linkage of public health threats. Every year, about 620,000 premature deaths are caused due to air pollution.

Delhi has been named as the most polluted city in the world. The air quality in the national capital is way higher than the acceptable standard. There is an urgent need for cleaner technologies.
