Here in this article we have compiled some products we use on a daily basis that can be swapped with eco-friendlier much pocket-friendly options. With just a little effort we can make a huge difference in bringing about relief to our degrading Earth.

Yes, saving the environment is that easy!

  1. Polythene Shopping Bags

A plastic bag takes about 1000 years to decompose. If this fact doesn’t make you think twice before using one, then what else does. Option two: Keep reusable shopping bags made from cloth in your purse or car. There are many trendy options out there to use while not compromising on your cool quotient. And if you do get a plastic bag, save it to reuse.

  1. Plastic Cutlery

When it comes to environmental impact, single-use plastic waste is a big deal, and it's putting about 700 million marine species at risk of extinction. So, keeping handy a steel silverware will be the best idea from next time onward.

  1. Paper Coffee Cups

We know you know your coffee mugs and donning them around just like that but are you aware of the fact. Not only are they hugely energy and resource-intensive to produce, they aren't always recyclable. Replacing one with a reusable cup doesn’t take much.

  1. Plastic Straws

Straws usually end up in the waterways, somewhere down clogging the sewerage. What about not picking one with your iced-coffee next time?

  1. Plastic Bottles

Not only does the constituents used to make a plastic bottle are hazardous for our health, but they constitute a large amount of non-biodegradable waste as well. Using a steel water cannister doesn’t hurt.

  1. Styrofoam

Styrofoam is another example in a world heading for more handier and lighter options, while completely forgetting the consequences. Styrofoam keeps on floating on the top of water-bodies and really bad for the marine-life. Since when id we switch from tiffin boxes to these?

  1. Aluminum Cans

The aluminum refining process requires a lot of electricity, and also wipes out forests and disrupts natural waterways. Fortunately, aluminum is 100 percent recyclable butting cutting down on its use will definitely make a difference to the environment.

With this, we compile our list. Lessening environmental impact means adopting a set of habits that add up in positive ways over the time. If you feel overwhelmed, start with one or two changes and take it from there.
