Showers likely during Janmashtami in Delhi and Mumbai

New Delhi. Thursday, August 9, The weather in Delhi is likely to remain cool and comfortable during Janmashtami as light showers are expected to continue over Delhi and adjoining areas during the next twenty four hours. Though, the humidity level will be high around 85%-90% but the cloudy to party cloudy sky and temperatures in the range of 32 to 25 would give relief to the people on fast. The devotees who are looking to visit Krishna temples during the night to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna may have to carry umbrellas and raincoats as passing shower is predicted to wet them.

 

In Mumbai, Devotees preparing to celebrate a Dahi Handi festival on the occasion of the birthday of Lord Krishna may meet showers midway as moderate rain is predicted over Mumbai during the next twenty four hours. Temperatures remain cozy in Mumbai with a high of 29 degrees and a low of 25 degrees.

 

The weather in Vrindavan and Mathura will also remain enjoyable as light to moderate rain is expected to accompany the devotees to welcome lord Krishna. The skies over Mathura and Vrindavan are cloudy throughout the day and temperatures would remain in the range of 32-26 degrees. The devotees of Lord Krishna in Bangalore will continue to witness pleasure weather as light rain and cloudy sky will not let temperature surpass 28 degrees.
