Exterior wall care
- The exterior wall should be repainted with weather proof paint so that any damage to it could be avoided.
- A water sealant, which is a special liquid, should be applied like paint on the exterior wall as it acts as a protective layer on concrete wall.
- The walls should also be repainted after applying the sealant to get maximum protection.
Interior walls and ceiling care
- Before the rainy season, the interior walls should also be repainted but before that a mason should be contacted to treat them with water-resistant products such as wall-care putty which fills up pores or small gaps in the walls to restrict water seepage.
- This also prevents chipping or the paint even if the walls are damp to provide a smooth surface for the paint job. Cracks in the walls or ceiling should also be getting filled up with white cement or plaster of Paris immediately to avoid seepage.
