The weather conditions across the country have been pleasant enough past these days, neither too hot nor too cold. Minimum temperatures have been dropping and as on today, Jebel Jais Mountain which is the highest peak in UAE recorded a minimum of 10°C.

Weathermen are of the view that on Thursday throughout the day, maximum temperatures will fall and settle around 32°C, whereas minimums around 13°C in the interior areas. On the other hand, the higher reaches would have temperatures settling in the range of 9°C to 25°C.

A Western Disturbance is seen moving across the northern parts of UAE. Thus, in wake of this weather system, light rain and thundershowers are expected over the northern as well as western chunks of the country such as Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah during this weekend.

Through this period, hazy and partly cloudy sky will prevail. Clouding will increase gradually followed by some rainfall activity during the late night and Friday morning. In fact, weathermen expect the coastal areas of the country to witness scattered rains until Saturday.

Moderate winds will blow across the region that may cause increase of dust over the exposed areas. The coastal areas could witness winds gusting up to 40 kmph. At the same time, the interior regions will have winds at a speed of 36 kmph. Here the levels of humidity are also expected to be sky high.

The sea is also expected to be rough in the Arabian Gulf, while light to moderate in Oman Sea.

Residents are therefore urged to avoid venturing out and stay safe and cautious.
