The country witnesses good rains during the pre-Monsoon and Monsoon season. The rivers are flooded with water and they influence India a lot, as they flow into India. During the Monsoon season, East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are highly affected by Nepal rains as the flooding rivers inflow into the states and cause flooding.
The country is already witnessing extremely widespread rainfall activity for the past four days. East Nepal is witnessing more pre Monsoon rainfall activity as compared to West Nepal. Rains have been so much that the eastern parts of Nepal have received more than 100 mm rains in the past four days. While West Nepal has recorded 50 mm rains until now.
During the last 24 hours, Birat Nagar recorded rain to the tune of 65 mm in the last 24 hours. In the same time frame, Dhangadhi received 27 mm rains and Pokhra 13 mm rains.
As per Skymet Weather, these rains can be attributed to the cyclonic circulation which lies over East Uttar Pradesh and adjoining regions and a trough which is extending eastwards.
It is anticipated that Nepal will continue to receive widespread pre Monsoon rains during the next two to three days.
The weather up in the hilly regions is expected to remain pleasant. However, the plains adjoining Uttar Pradesh and Bihar would observe warm weather conditions.
