Expected cold weather across north & central India to be beneficial for wheat. The cold wave conditions would prevail over parts of Punjab, Haryana, north Rajasthan and UP and some parts of Bihar and Jharkhand. Wheat crop is in the tillering stage. The prevailing cold with rains are conducive for the growth in parts of Punjab, Haryana, UP and Himachal Pradesh.
