Cold weather conditions across northern and central India to be beneficial for wheat. The cold wave likely over parts of Punjab, Haryana, north Rajasthan and UP and some parts of Bihar and Jharkhand. The crop is in tillering stage and the present weather is helpful in its growth. If cold weather carries on till Jan 15 and after no ground frost, production can touch 86 million tonne.
