Rains due to cyclone phailin may affect the legume in the parts of central Maharashtra, Vidharbha, and north Karnataka, AP and MP. Crop is in grand growth to pod formation stage and is in healthy state in central and southern parts due to normal rains. Picking of pods started in some pockets but is affected in places where rainy weather is prevailing.
